MQB EA888.3 Coil Pack Grounding Harness

Well made product for the price and the included instructions were helpful too. Highly recommend to anyone with an EA888.3 engine.

First of all, thank you for the hi chew! It was a nice surprise.
I’ve been running the grounding kit for a little in my B9.5 A4 Allroad. It’s been through varying temperatures and humidity levels (as I’m out in the desert with indecisive weather). The car feels much smoother and more stable than before. The jerkiness and indecisiveness of the car has significantly decreased. The power distribution has become well balanced that I can actually feel my Quattro engage and put the power to the wheels. The temp management in the vehicle has also been stabilized. Overall the car seems well balanced than before.

The instructions are straight forward. The kit is well made and it comes with the necessary tools included. I should have done this on my VW Tiguan when I had it.

If you’re considering this kit or on the fence about it, just get it. It’s worth it and then some. Also, if you have any questions, Sean is very nice to work with. He will answer your questions to the best of his ability and will try to help the best he can.

Installed the grounding kit with no issues. I love that it came with printed instructions and de-pinning tool. The build quality of the harness gives me great confidence that this will last longer than my car!

Reasonably priced. Very well made. Came with solid instructions. The included depinning tools worked great. And above all else it fixed the problem. I installed this on my wife's 2018 MQB Tiguan and not only did it smooth out the idle, it also made the entire rim range smoother, and to top it off it got rid of the random misfire issue it has been having. That combined with cleaning up the engine bay a little bit and making maintenance easier 10/10 I would recommend this kit to anyone with the EA888 engine. (Came with a delicious Hi-Chew as well).

A++ experience with the SkunkWerks ground kit. Yes, the wait time was longer than expected, but once the kit arrived it was obvious why so many people still recommend it. The short kit design is clean, the hardware quality is excellent, and everything needed for installation was included along with clear instructions.

Fit and finish were top notch and the install went smoothly. After seeing the quality firsthand, I can honestly say it was worth waiting for. In my opinion, previous negative reviews where focused on shipping or production delays — not the actual kit itself — because the product quality is outstanding once you receive it.
